    WhenI do it for the first time to a tractor I pull the rear cover to check things out after that I use the bottom drain plug. I change it every year, since we get a lot of temp swings that make the trans condensate.

    Dennis, If I were to run liquid in the tire I would use somthing cheap like washer fluid so if it all spilled I wouldnt be out that much, my owners manual for my OT tractor talks abotu how adding fluid isnt as effective as cast iron becaus some weight and travel speed is lost in the fluid...

    Just got done changing oil in my 122 to 10-30 for winter, I pulled out the magnetic drain plug I got from David Kirk and it had a little pile of magnetic sludge on it, I installed it at the beginning of summer. Great product!

    I will give you this 1969 John Deere 110 for a snow blower to fit my Cub Cadet 122, or will do a partial trade for a nice snow/dirt blade. The 110 smokes a little on startup but goes away once warm, missing the front grill and side belt pully cover, has two new front tires (after pic was taken)...

    Ken, I replaced the o-ring and brake pucks on my 122 over the summer, I took the trans out of the tractor and tilted it vertically up and took the reduction gear housing off this way you don't have to drain any of the fluid, make shure if you do this you put the bolts back in where the frame...
