    Jason switch couplers and it should be fine, the ball IIRC was more for centering the drive shaft. If you go with the 1250 coupler you will need the 1250 drive shaft ,again IIRC.

    I have to say that is the worst damage wise accident I have seen with a cub as far as repair goes,, I am with Steve swap the whole rearend or do an engine swap some how.

    many times I have seen the wire that runs to the coil across the engine shroud, wear and ground out on the two metal clips on the shroud. just my 2 cents
