Where in North America is Jim, and what Cub Cadet items has he found there?

Awesome Items! ...and I think we’re only getting decked out in John’s dreams.

    Nightmares sometimes wear IH gear.

My running collection and next project

The operator takes a more active role on the magic beads, huh? It sounds kinda like I would imagine it would be riding a horse that does not want you on it.

What are your alternatives? Vented pan seat? Velour?

My running collection and next project

I forgot a 124 should have the white seat. Ours had a 126 style black seat.

    Hello to all

Welcome Will! I grew up on a 124 and have a 782 now. The 147 is a fine machine! Keep us updated with lots of photos and progress reports on your project.

Where in North America is Jim, and what Cub Cadet items has he found there?

Maybe the Bathtub King can help me remember which year had bars in the grille, and which year had honeycomb? I have lots of trouble telling the difference between the 65s and 66s. I do much better with 67 vs 68. As I recall, those exhaust trumpets were a major pain to get/keep aligned in...

Where in North America is Jim, and what Cub Cadet items has he found there?

I ran across this nice driver 65 or 66 GT Mustang at a hotel on Long Island, NY. There has also been a 60s VW Beetle, and a Ford Falcon all in similar condition at the same hotel complex over the last decade. Funny thing is, they have all been that color. I wonder if the same guy has done...

Dual hydro retrofit on QL 1650

Welcome Joe! Sounds like a great project. I would like to one day upgrade to dual hydraulics on my 782. Good luck with your project.

I sure like that 124 w/creeper, but it’s gonna need a seat to be a driver. It might need the steering wheel relocated and reoriented too. I grew up on a 124 w/o creeper. Sorry. Stuck in an airport ALL DAY NOW, so you guys may get more of my sarcasm than anyone should have to endure.

CoolKP: how is the shaft? Should you be shopping for a die to clean up the threads before you try the new nut from Digger?
