    782 progress

John, Congratulations, and condolences. We "met" your FIL here in a photo or two, right? Working at a golf course??? They oughta have lots of grass you could test out that deck on. I'm anxious to follow your progress on the electric.

    Narrow VS Wide Chassis

Yes. I use one from a 149 on my 782. Don't forget that the lift rod "ear" is longer on a wide frame blade so the lift rod can clear the wider body easier.

    wideframe sun frame plow help

I use a wide frame subframe for my dozer blade on a 782. Perfect fit. I think the 982 should need a different subframe since the chassis is longer.

    Grass Catcher Issue

Have you tried spraying the inside with Pam/silicone/Slip Plate/bedliner? I still remember when Dad learned that Pam cooking spray might help release snow from our shovels. He had them all hanging and gave them coat after coat...it helped for maybe five or six throws.

    IH CC 106

I built a small flywheel "146" (14 hp in a 126). I couldn't agree more about the extra hp! When I built it, my son who plans to be a welder had not decided that yet . . . I think he was in 1st grade and we had no welders at my house. Now we have three, and a generator that runs them.
