    I agree with you. The hood really jumps out at you versus the purple. Note I am not saying I think you chose the right color, just that I do like the IH white with the purple. It is your tractor. Also note I am not trying to tell you what to do with it, or what you should have done with it...

    Maybe the filter just picked up some gunk during the change. Or maybe it was a defective filter that failed after a few hours. Good to hear you have it working.

    Did you follow Matt's suggestion of looking for a pinched line? My 782 had a stuck valve that had to be freed up with penetrating oil, and the lift handle was out of position.

    Parts Wanted IH cadet 60 fuel tank needed

    Michael, the oil seal is probably just a standard CR seal (Chicago Rawhide-they used to be made of rawhide) . You may be able to shop for it by the shaft diameter, and seal bore in any oil seal line.
