    I just can't help myself!

I didn't expect to be buying another machine, especially not during the County Fair, but here we are anyways! I picked up this nice little 1960s National Triplex reel mower a couple days ago from one of the other antique association members. What a machine these are! Everything is belt driven...

Taking the 107 to the County Fair

Well, the fair officially began yesterday! Since there wasn't one last year, a surprising amount of people showed up on the first day. Here's some of the equipment we've got here: I think a couple more engines are coming later today to run some equipment. I've gotten a lot of good feedback...

Taking the 107 to the County Fair

Went back to the grounds yesterday to do some setup work getting the displays ready. Posed the 107 for a quick photo in front of the blacksmith shop...

Taking the 107 to the County Fair

Today was the day, the 107 made the trip to the local County Fairgrounds. 2021 Wyoming County Fair, in Pike, NY, from Saturday August 14th to Saturday August 21st. With it came 4 vintage small engines, including the Kohler k90 I posted about a little while ago. The 106 helped out bringing the...

    Hello from upstate NY

Welcome! I am also from the Upstate NY area, and I also have a 106. They are very nice machines and it will serve you well.

    Kohler K90

Well, in an unexpected turn of events, the magneto coil died and this engine ended up with battery ignition. Wanted to replace the coil, and bought A replacement too, but apparently I have a different magneto setup and the replacement coil does not fit under the flywheel. Unfortunate, but oh...

    Questions deck & wheels

Now I'm no 125 expert, but I must say, kudos to you for deciding to restore a tractor in that shape! Most people would have looked at that and said that it's basically scrap, but you didn't, and I admire that. and believe me, it may take a while, but it is possible! Although not a full...

    Kohler K90

Hah! Gary, I didn't have one in my collection before yesterday :errrr: . Don't really think I can let this one go! You can have whatever pile of leftover Clinton 700a parts I've got after I finish building one good Clinton out of the two I have! In all seriousness though, I'm not sure exactly...

    Kohler K90

Picked this little thing up yesterday for $50 at a Flea Market. She's an early one! I believe the K90 was the smallest engine in the K series. Don't see very many of them around either. After cleaning the points and cleaning the fuel system, it runs surprisingly well. Don't know what I'm gonna...

    K321 Crank

To run this engine in the 122, you will most definitely need the longer crankshaft. The shorter ones would not have enough length to fit both the starter generator pulley and the PTO. As for the bearing still on one of them, sometimes the bearings will stay in the block or backing plate, and...

    K321 Crank

IMO you'd want to use the third one with the longer output shaft, I'm not sure you could run a PTO on the ones with the shorter output shafts. Then again, perhaps you can? This is where my experience is lacking. I don't know the difference in a Quiet line.

    1950 Farmall Cub

Kraig, boy have prices changed over the years. Could you imagine paying $545 for a new small tractor today? I think most of them are over $10,000 today when you buy them new. And often even when you buy them used!

    WNY Cubs: 106, 107, 147, and Original

Thanks guys, Gary, I know it doesn't seem like it but with all 4 Cubs running, I'm starting to run low on projects! Gonna have to dig into some smaller stuff that I've been saving for instances like this. I do however need to make sure I get the 107 all buttoned up for the county fair this year...

    50A deck on a 127?

Believe it or not, in my 147's past life, it actually ran a 50a deck. I still have the deck and mule drive. In order to properly mount the deck, my neighbor used the NF upper part of the mule drive, and then swapped the lower part of it for a later one to match the 50a deck. It appears that he...

    1950 Farmall Cub

This little tractor will be coming home soon. Should be a great addition to My IH stuff. It's currently residing at my grandparents house until we can trailer it home. My grandfather is giving it to me for free. It sat for about 4 years in his barn, all it took to make run was a fuel system...

    WNY Cubs: 106, 107, 147, and Original

Slowly trying to gather the complete 1X6 1X7 series... Here's what I have so far... From left to right, 106, 107, and 147(R) 1971 106: Bought this one last June, been a very reliable worker ever since. 38" mower deck, I do a lot of mowing with this tractor. Runs and drives really well, clutch...

    106 swamp resurrection. Of sorts

Looks like a fun project! I've done 2 similar revivals so far. My 107 which sat for about 30 years, and my 147 which sat for about 15. I think its fun!
