Don't you guys just hate it when people go up to you and try to talk about your cub and say what you should do to it. I have someone telling me I should derby, drag race and etc with my cub. Funny part about the people, they are john deere fans. So they dont know a american made, built to last...

Thanks Jason - Seems like I'm going to have to make my own gas tank, since a custom pre made one will not fit

Jason - On your 149, do know the height inside the engine bay? Like from the base of the frame to the hood, just want to know if I can fit a pre made custom gastank. I dont have my tractors at home since I work on them in school. Thanks

Josh S I heard that you can paint the chute with bedliner or something else, and it stops clogging your chute.

My 149 project is going great, since i got the rear back on, I started to look at my engine which is a command pro 20, made for cub cadet. Had to get a engine plate. Then I had to re drill the holes on a mill. Now I just got to wait for the other student in the class to get his ford diesel out...

I have a question, If a key switch has a safety prong on it, can it still start without having the safety part that goes from the pto etc there? I'm needing to know this since I have mounted my command to my 149 but still need to the wiring on it. Can I use the key switch from the 149 or will I...

Jason - Don't know if it be worth it, but I would see if you could get that axle tube welded by someone, then you could have a backup if you break another tube. Ha ha

Jason In the pictures i have seen, I see a hole in the brake arm, that goes from the pedal to the cast iron. Is that holding anything in?

Jason Ok, that make me wonder, 1 cm on each side. There is roll pin sticking out. I wonder if its broken inside and can grab it off. or did they just put long pins in this?

Jason Thanks, only took me 1 min to create in paint program. But is there a special way to remove a spiral pin? like do you have to knock it out the way it came in?

Jason The brakes move nicely, its just that one side is sitting at 90 and the other side is sitting at 45, i have a drawing to see if it makes sense. we tried to remove the spiral pin, but it stuck. unless it went in one way and must come out the way it came in?

So I drilled the bolt enough for a easy out to grab it and turned it out. So thats the last of that issues. My next issue is the brake arm on the transaxle. one end the loop is broken, but its also not up and down like the other one. so its not like even with the other one. Has anyone straigten...

Jason W Actually we just pulled the axle tube out yesterday. And the bolt is in the differnceal housing. But we will have to drill it then get a easy out then I should be fine.

Jason W I looked at the frame, it was kinda bent outwards, but if I had put the hydro in and bolted it. it would fit. But I have ran into another problem. Sadly I wont be getting pics any time soon since its at school, and less time taking pics and more work time since its only 2 periods. But...

Jason W I think i bent the right side in the back where the axle mounts. but It kinda looks twisted to me. But i'm going to be putting in my other rear end and see if its just fixes it self
