Tractor For Sale Cub Cadet 800

Selling my 1975 800. Has the original air cleaner, carb, rear tires, exhaust shroud and muffler. I was planning to keep this and possibly restore it, unfortunately plans have changed. Not pictured but also included will be a 44A mower deck, I have a few extras and would include one with the...

    steering box adjustment?

Thanks, guess I was reading a little bit too far into other information available, it’s best to stick to the basics and the manual. Really I’m curious what the projected shaft length is. When I assemble everything and install the steering wheel I end up with a 1/8 or so gap.

    steering box adjustment?

Pulling up an old thread here…. I’m in the process of my first steering box rebuild on a 1200. I’ve taken everything apart, cleaned, inspected and begun the reassembly process. According to this diagram there is a target assembled dimension of 25+/-, my question is +\- what?? Fully...

    Anyone looking for a 782D?

There is a lot of nice stuff at that sale, I agree it probably won't go cheap. Do we want to take a guess with the 782D will go for? I'll start at 2k.

    Steering shaft rebuild

Yes that is exactly what has happened. I will try the epoxy as the gearbox is still in good shape. Do you know what the overall length should be or do I just bottom the tube out?

    Steering shaft rebuild

Working on my 1200 and noticed the steering housing is loose from the Ross gearbox, I figured now is a good time for a rebuild. It looks like it’s been loose for a little while and during use has worn the OD of the steering housing. To tighten it up would it be a bad idea to epoxy or JB weld...

    Steering wheel removal

$10 steel split collar with 1.75” ID from Amazon and a 2 finger puller. The collar saves potential damage to the bottom of the wheel.

Lesson learned for me. Just sad that people would actually do that, I'd never dream of that in a million years.

    Wild Weekend

Had a wild weekend just now. Went to a sale with a good friend to look for a few missing pieces to my quietline collection, ended up bringing these home! I spent some time on the 1200 and it purrs like a kitten after some fresh fuel and a carb rebuild. It needs some odds and ends and the...

Parts For Sale PECO leaf vac

I don’t have a picture of it attached unfortunately, but it is identical to this (Thanks google). It mounts on the rear axle and is secured in place with a bolt through the rear hitch. The leaves are collected in a nylon bag which is supported by a metal frame.

Parts For Sale PECO leaf vac

Have an early PECO leaf/yard vac that fits a quiet line cub. Comes with two 5hp Briggs motors and blower housings, a spare bag, spare bag hood and flex hoses. I have no plans to use it, asking $500 for everything. Trades are always considered, I’m interested in Cub Quietline stuff. I need...

Looks great! Always liked those 5 rib tires, need to get a set for my 1650. The water jet cut IH weights are a nice touch, where did you source them?
