    I believe in cycles..IMO weather patterns seem to evolve every 20-25 yrs...??..in 70 and 80s everyone seem to have snow machines in So. Mi. then nothing for yrs..Everybody started going north to ride..Hardley anyone here has snow mobiles anymore and it's gotten much more costly to head...

    Well guys..I've mentioned more than once a piece of pipe ..1 1/2 cut length wise to fit over cutting edge and hangers or bolts on the ends will eliminate gauging lawn but doesn't do super clean job on concrete....try it ya' might like it...

    Tom, Matt is so right about the cables,they have a tendency to corrode inside connectors where you can't see it..literally had 1 fall apart last yr but looked fine..Putting a large auto batt on back takes some custom work but shouldn't be neccessary...

    TOM, IT IS THE NATURE OF S/G NOT TO CRANK FAST BUT any batt. that fits will work.I bought a 149 last fall that had a 850 cr. amp batt mounted on a platform on back...doesn't seem to turn any faster.Keep in mind you're cranking cold oil in trans as well...Several members have mentioned using...

    Advice for first time buyer

    A point to ponder..If I was looking for a mowing tractor,I would be looking at an older Cub Lowboy with a belly mower.They do a great job mowing and the drawbar can be used without removing the deck.Should be easily found under $6000.

    Fred,if memory serves me... that has a long hub on backside and a spacer next to housing.I had to use acy torch and a 3 lb sledge to get one off...burned all the paint off center of hub.If you can get an extra pair of hands running puller plus heat it might come sooner.There is no easy answer,sorry
