    Dad’s 100

Thanks! Some of the hardware is painted since I sprayed another coat on after I assembled the dash tower and rearend to the frame. For paint, I’m using Vansickle enamel with hardener.

    Dad’s 100

Thanks guys. The heim joints are QA1 brand that I bought from Amazon. I had to use a die to cut the threads a little farther back on the drag link to get the ends screwed on farther for the correct length. The end at the steering box was binding at full left turn so I added some short spacers...

    Refurbishing my 108

I painted mine with truck bed liner and it’s holding up great.

Decal application on dash of 1450

Here’s how I refinished the dash tin on my 129. Hit it with some extra fine steel wool to clean up the bare outlines. Masked off the outlines and painted the black. Removed the masking and sprayed it with clear coat. Cut the lettering sections from the decal and placed them on the dash.

    Did I make a mistake?...

You can’t go wrong with an old Cub. In 2009, I got a 1964 CC100 and sold my 2000 MTD. No regrets.

    66 series clone 129

This was what I started with. It was in decent condition other than the typical worn trunnion slot and one rear corner of the fender was crunched. The mower deck was not so nice. Once I pulled off all of the patches screwed on, only about half of the original steel was there. I lucked out and...

    Opinions please

I got one from TSC for my Kubota that came with a strip of rubber to take up space to fit thin wheels.

Looks great. I wish I could get a Cub finished in just 2 weeks. I’m nearly 5 yrs into my 100.

    SB 9A followed me home

Congrats on the lathe. I may have a spare drill chuck with a #2 Morse taper if that’s what your tailstock has.

Funny you should say that. I saw this 1450 at a local show a few years back.

They should have painted them red since they resemble the IH tractors of the same timeframe.
