    1450 mower deck

Nice work on the deck. I welded 1/2” black pipe along the edges of my 48” deck to reinforce it. I also replaced the skids with spherical wheels.

    Welder madness

Some people should have their tools confiscated. The 126 I had was owned by some of those people. They had cut notches out of the frame to fit a K321 or K341 and left it like that. When I got it, it had a K301 in it and someone had welded scrap steel into the frame notches. The frame had sagged...

    Dad’s 100

Thank you awoloch. I picked up the seat cover at a tractor show a few weeks ago. It seems to be the exact same cover as the one I bought at TSC several years ago. My 100 doesn’t have the original pan seat which I believe is smaller than this seat. My seat is the optional cushion seat that was...

    Dad’s 100

So much for staring at the 100’s shiny new paint. After 5 years of having it torn apart, I put it back to work pulling the ripper to level out an old fence row to sow some grass. It felt good to get back in the seat. I then used the 129 and power angle blade to smooth it all out and push the...

    66 series clone 129

Here’s a couple pics of the piece I made to hold the quick couplers. It clamps around them and is bolted to the frame. I also made a new filler panel for the levers.

    New kid on the block.

Welcome David. We’ve all had forgivable lapses in judgment even of it was buying a JD.

    66 series clone 129

Thanks PACub100. Got the front remotes finished today. There was just enough room to put them under the toolbox. I stole the quick connectors from my Kubota since they’re the same size as the ones on my 100. I just happened to have a couple of hoses that were the right length.

    66 series clone 129

Thanks guys. Welded the linkage and made new hard lines to connect the new valve inline with the lift valve. Next is figuring out where I can mount the front remotes with my toolbox on there. I think there’s room under the toolbox to mount the quick connects side by side through the front frame...

    66 series clone 129

Got the valve mounted and figured out the linkage and levers.

    Dad’s 100

Yet my wife couldn’t care less about it. Lol

    Dad’s 100

One of my weights also has a couple of raised pads with numbers and letters. The other 3 don’t. I didn’t notice them until I stripped away the several layers of paint.

    Dad’s 100

The 100 is officially complete! Bolted on the inside weights today.

    147 Project

Good luck with your new project. Looks like it’s in pretty good shape.

    66 series clone 129

Revision 1 Original valve and lever will remain stock. New 2-spool valve will be mounted under the tunnel cover with the levers mounted through the shifter hole in the fenders.

    66 series clone 129

Started working on my hydraulic upgrade. I had originally planned on replacing the original valve with the 2 spool JD valve I bought. Then, I thought, why not leave the original valve and make it a triple stick tractor like the JD 140 H3. Upon further inspection, I realized there isn’t a good...

    Dad’s 100

    Inner weights are painted.

    66 series clone 129

Ground isn’t flat where the picture was taken. Wide frames do have a few degrees of positive camber though.

    Dad’s 100

Hood decals and ornament are on.

    66 series clone 129

Tires are on. Should have done this years ago.

    Dad’s 100
