what year is my 105 cub cadet ?

One of my often made statements: "Don't worry, it gets worse." :errrr: I noticed the older I get, the more I say that. Tim, It don't have to be fixed up to take it to a show. I see them all the time with their "original clothes" on. To me, they just look nicer with a shiny coat of paint. I...

what year is my 105 cub cadet ?

That number don't look right. The serial number should be on the lower left of the back side of the tranny. Here is a pic of where it should be. The blue arrow is pointing to it.

    14 horse in a 149 leaking oil

When my Sunday boots get 50+ years old, I don't think polish will do them any good. They are only about 15-20 years old, and I have already ordered their replacement! :errrr: I could maybe see trying the softening trick if ; 1. it took a day or two to replace the seal 2. it was a slow leak...

I guess double filtration is ok too. :errrr: I see the pto basket, but it looks like the pto is not there. Did you get it from the previous owner? Sad that...

    IH Cub Cadet decals -

OK, if we want to get picky, I can see a few things right off. 1. It needs rear fender reflectors. 2. A silver button in the top of the implement lift lever. 3. An adjustment slot for the steering at the base of the dash tower. 4. An acorn nut on the steering wheel.
