Looking for Cub Cadet carrying attachment

I think Xtreme, a page sponsor, sells one they call the "gard-n- cart" If I remember correctly, it was for the original, but I can't imagine fabricating bracketry to fit other models would be that extensive of a project. You could probly even sacrifice an old mule drive to make it work.

Belt break and threw off PTO shaft

As far as filter removal goes, I take a shop vac and stick the hose about 2 inches inside the hydraulic tank, loosely pack a shop rag around the hose, not tightly, you don't want a "seal". This will create a small amount of vacuum inside the tank, and keep you from losing large amounts of fluid...

    Finally found it!

    torque wrench recommendations

As far as my personal opinion, I prefer a click type that ratchets. For about all engine work and hydraulic pump/ hydrostatic motor applications, the spec has a built in tolerance. So if the book says the bolt should be tightened to 60 ftlbs, they know anything from roughly 50-70 is sufficient...

    torque wrench recommendations

If you have 20 minutes to spare, get on YouTube and watch the torque wrenches test that project farm did. He tested torque wrenches from lowes, harbor frieght, and all the way up to snap on and matco. He gives the accuracy data. He doesn't do the the "I prefer this over that" he just tests them...

    Highest Hours?

We typically don't get our first chance to mow till mid May, and we are typically done mowing by mid September. Some years it's different, but that's the norm up here. And if you figure the Amp draw of the hour meter, and capacity of the battery, it didn't make it as long as it should have, but...

    Highest Hours?

2 years ago I bought my grandpa a new cub xt2. After his last mow of the season that year, he left the key on. That spring, his battery was obviously dead, but he had accumulated 3200 hours before the battery died! It had less than 40 before that winter.

    volt reg issues on 108

Does it have 3-4 numbers and a letter? If so, there is your value. If you Google how to identify a resistor with numbers, you find find a good explanation of how to decode it, better than I can explain it anyways. Then, once you know what is supposed to be, you can test your to see if it's good.

    volt reg issues on 108

To test the resistance of the resistor is extremely easy. Just unscrew both ends off the voltage regulator and turn your volt/ohm meter to read ohms, and put a lead on each end. This will tell you the amount of resistance you have from each end. However, resistors are typically labeled with...

Snow Thrower Tangles W/Dog Toy 🤣. This was a Pain in the Ars

I'm just picturing myself sitting on my tractor wondering why the lights were falling off the house, then having that "oh f$%#" moment!

Snow Thrower Tangles W/Dog Toy 🤣. This was a Pain in the Ars

I must be the lucky guy that has wrapped up a tie out cable, and a pull rope, the same day! That was last year on my 1650, this year I got the tie out cable again, because I moved it before I started blowing the driveway and my bride put the dog out and put her on it so she wouldn't run up to me...

    winter projects to stay busy

Well Gary, here's my latest bright idea. Even though I don't drink the God awful crap they call whiskey, alot of my friends do. So, I had the bright idea of making shot glasses. But I wanted them to look like tiny whiskey barrels, with the inside charred. This is my first one, and it turned out...
