Parts For Sale Power Angle plow Hydraulic cylinder

If that happens are you able to manually lock it in left/right? This will be my first season with this plow, I want to be prepared. OK, maybe I should just go take a look at it...

Those wheels are hard/impossible to find, front and rear. I better check CCS!

    Scam or not?

On another note, I've had a number of experiences where I needed to contest billing on a credit card. My observation is that the card company always takes the customers side if they provide good documentation. I'm 3 for 3 in the last two years asking for a charge to be reversed.

There was a 54" Super blade with hydraulic angle on CL in Ohio for $350. I see them occasionaly on CL. Your 1882 probably doesn't have the hydraulic port up front, just two 3/4 inch holes where they would install. Snowblowers for this model pop up on CL pretty frequently also. You probably have...

    Motor oil

Advance Auto also accepts used oil. I buy my oil in 2 1/2 gallon jugs and use them to recycle. I also have a friend with an oil burning furnace, if he doesn't need the oil, it goes to Advance.

    Hydraulic fluid help

My 2014 Tank SZ60 suggests Cub oil but also suggests alternatives. For the Kawasaki it suggests Rotella 15W40, I think. I'll take a look at the manual and post back. I've used Rotella In my Cubs and diesel compacts and all the rest of my outdoor equipment after much research.

Do not use a light to locate them, they come right to it...Probably a quick off on would be ok?

    Ignition switch connector

I'm working on a 2284 and discovered the ignition switch no longer had the molded connector. Instead the wires were stake ons and individually connected and taped. I searched for that connector with no luck. Are those replaceable? Any idea on a part number? Do I need a tool to release the pins...

    Red Sticky grease

My grease gun ran out in the middle of greasing a 60" Haban and for whatever reason my last purchase was Red Sticky grease. So I reloaded the gun and just pushed grease till it came out red. Any reason not to use the Red Sticky?

Why are there so many Models?

I think that's true, IH sold to Mtd in 81. A lot of good tractors built on the same concept 81 to 97.

Why are there so many Models?

If you divide the number of models over years produced, my 2284 was , I believe the first year of production was 1961 and the last 97. I counted roughly 125 divided by 36 year production = 3.7 per year.

New mower is a piece of junk so far!

I'm pretty sure a number of Cubs I've owned had this horrible feature. On a hydro it was a microswitch that was on the R side of the hydro lever. Maybe a jaunt down a smooth road or driveway and see if that issue persists or put a 50 Lb bag of sand on the seat and sit on that?

New mower is a piece of junk so far!

I know someone who encountered the same thing, a very petite women who couldn't keep the seat switch engaged. The simplest solution was to disable the seat switch, at least for a test. Some folks are mortified anyone would disable a safety. On some units this may disable the PTO safety also...
