    It pains me to say this but the buyer intends to morph this into a blade for a Ventrac. He tells me the Ventrac blade was in the $1700 range. I would have loved to see it go to an old Cub owner but fully understood his reasoning.

    The old 1872 ran a 60" deck with a 18HP Kohler Mamgum, great engine but I bet the Vanguard has more torque? That old 18 also ran a 451 blower through some big snows.

    I do what Cubs4lifeofme suggests and then connect front of mule drive to Harbor Freight winch. I get just enough front wheel height to roll it out. I use the same winch to raise for cleaning and service with jackstands for safety.

    I've looked at the Mahindra's. I have a friend that's had one a few years and he's really happy with it. I have an 87? Ford 1220 and an 87? Case 245 that I'd like to upgrade to a more recent Kubota, Mahindra, whatever.

    That just doesn't seam well engineered, but I've never had one leak. I have a 2284 that will leak from the crossover if I fill it completely. I've wallered around on the floor looking for the solution and thus far the solution is 3/4 tank of fuel!
