    Need new battery

Will the miata battery fit under the seat of a 782 as well as the 106? Gotta help crank speed during the winter

1872 hydrostatic- moving tractor that is not running

You say you have spark. In spite of that, pull a plug after cranking and look for gas on plug or plug threads. That will verify gas to cylinders and might lean toward bad timing.

    782 progress

I just changed tires a month ago, I repainted the rims and wheel weights. I was really leaning toward red but went with white. I do like the red. Next time

    Practically gave it away-1987 1210

The Fram website shows the specs on all their filters.

    Practically gave it away-1987 1210

I wonder if the filtration and pressure on the Fram filter is in spec of the price OEM

    Funny Ads

Along with the manual choke and transmission, by today's standards you now have to add a Key. It has become too inconvenient to actually put a key in the ignition.

Gee I knew the 2020 was old school. Lost my head. Yes clamp style

    Breaking Insane Tire Bead

They sell an add on for motorcycle rims. That will help with smaller diameter rims too. Like these. Mine are slightly different, they offset more to give you a shorter or longer capability depending on whether you are pushing or pulling to hold the rim...

    Kirk Engines

Govt regulated minimum wage increases, domestic liability insurances, manufacturing Codes of safety from chemicals. ALL play a part in American manufacturers to produce elswhere. America was built on Supply and Demand. Now we live by federal government telling private sector companies what...

With nothing more then a little time and Carb cleaner, It runs and rolls..... Can't beat that

    Breaking Insane Tire Bead

I used a pneumatic impact hammer after I couldn't get mine off the bead. I have a dull chisel tip and drove it toward the rim then down. I had to go around the rim a bit until the tire finally stopped down

cub cadet 129 with K321 14hp engine problems

I would loosen the gas cap and see if problem goes away. Spiders like this 'new' gas and clog the gas tank vent. If the Cub sat a long time (a few months) you may have a sticky needle valve in carb

    Tire Trouble

I use Tide clothes detergent. Water it down a bit and it will get the tires on the rim if you can keep from slipping with your grip. Of course the Brake Fluid deal was his way of softening for sealing, not mounting. Tires are going to seat easily... That little whup in the bead is no biggy

    Tire Trouble

If you have seen the way some Amazon sellers ship their tires, you wouldn't think twice about the bulge you have on that bead. I'm betting it'll be fine

What can you glean from a terrible picture?

That looks so much like a home I went to a year ago. Ambulance call, it wasn't the appropriate time to look closely or to inquire. Bit it did bother me to see so much potential lined up. Even if they were parted out to folks that are looking for parts.

    cub cadet 129 hydrostatic question

My guess is Zinc is an added lubricant. 8 years ago I changed with NAPA filter and Tractor Supplys Traveler premium tractor trans/hydro. The label on the jug did cross to hydrant, an it was local to me. It runs in summer and wicked cold winters. I mostly snow plow, it never sees the...

Belt break and threw off PTO shaft

Not familiar with this 'large' Cub but most PTO shafts have a lock into place system. Pull back on a ring push down onto spline and release ring. Look for something like that

    Beat to death discussion.. Tires

These did come in a box. Inflating was effortless. Many reviews of tire Sellers on Amazon refer to the folded tires and nightmare of catching a bead. I'm not willing to play the ether and light a match game.
