    Selling my 169 and attachments

If it runs and drives put the deck on and go mow....take about 15 min to put the mule drive and deck on. 🤷‍♂️

    Gardens 2023

Planted most of ours last nite. Approximately half my sweet corn left to go. Gonna give it 2 weeks and plant the other half. Usually doesn't end up working out for some reason but trying it again.

Why did you give up on the 800?

    1984 CC 1711

That does look sharp. I believe with the right parts power steering can be transplanted to that tractor. If you could find an 1862 or 1864 that was being parted out it should be a mostly bolt on affair.

CC 2128 shuts off when parking brake engaged, not charging

One switch plug might need jumpered. On my 1862 one switch was normally open and the other was normally closed. Finally figured it out with the diagram and somewhere was a description of .....I will call it modes of operation for lack of a better term at the moment. All this to say one switch...

Newbie to IH Cub Cadet In Ohio

Some folks really seem to like the 54 deck. I have one on an 1862 and like it so far tho I haven't used it much and it's kind of rough.

    What's wrong with some people?

    Habian deck

I believe the tractor frame is longer on the supers to accommodate the 60"deck? Can't recall but I was thinking either 3" or 6" longer?

The biggest Cub Cadet garden tractor?

I know a lot of people don't like what came after the cyclops, and I agree they are not as heavy duty. But I still like the 2000, 3000 series that came after. No they were not as good but still had some decent features. V twin kohlers and shaft drive. Still have a hydro with a changeable filter...

The biggest Cub Cadet garden tractor?

Also the blade speed on these old cubs isn't nearly that of the zero turns everyone is so proud of. Not even at full throttle. I suppose if you mow your yard often enough so that the grass isn't that tall it works out for some of you. But early in the year here and with other chores needing done...

    devilbiss spray gun.

Go ahead and play with the old guns .what are you out besides time? You may find you prefer something different than other folks. Never have played with the newer low pressure guns but many do talk about less over spray with them. But also a learning curve with them sounds like too.

The biggest Cub Cadet garden tractor?

Isn't the hydro suppose to be used with the engine wide open for the most part? Something about minimizing fluid slip and heating by running at rated rpm I thought.....

The biggest Cub Cadet garden tractor?

The 2072 would be 20 hp and has the older 782 style sheet metal. Same basic chassis as all the rest of the supers up thru the 2284. In fact I'm told if you use the older steering tower you can use the sheet metal from the 82 series. Something to think about of you really don't like the cyclops...

    Wheel wwights

Last I looked and when I bought a couple sets the plastic coated cement weights were 50 to 60 dollars a set a couple years ago. That's the ones that fit the 782 ect models.

    New 169 owner in Va.

Looks like a neat project. Nice variety of attachments. Everyone has an opinion but I like chains for snow work tho I agree that ag tires seem to need them less. Weights again are personal preference I don't think wheel weights are that bad to put on but can see how they would be an...

Cub Cadet 1330 PTO clutch switch won't stay engaged without holding the clutch switch on

I agree with 1811cub. Have experienced similar. If you look at a wiring diagram I believe there is a seperate circuit from engage and run postion of the switch. Something is different I know but can't recall without looking at a diagram. Try what 1811 suggests before changing anything out.
