Tractor For Sale 1969 International Harvester 124

That is called a sleeve hitch if I'm not mistaken. Your correct you can hook attachments to it to lift and lower them, such as a plow ect. A pto will power the rotary motion of an attachment. Pto stands for power take off By the way. Maybe you already knew that. As in power taken from the...

    The Chief--Dad's 149

Does anybody know if jstertz ever did a write up or at least photos of the adapted grass bagger set up or the winter blower and cab set up? I would be interested in seeing those as well. They do nice work. I hope he and all his family are doing well.

Curious how you determined the value for this tractor?

Still around, just can't focus on one brand.

How long does it take to do 25 miles on a garden tractor? Nice collection and that fiance looks like a keeper!

Kenny, I believe that should be a 50c deck and should fit tho you might need the mule drive that went with it. Can somebody confirm or deny that the 50c mule drive is different than the 44C? Pulleys offset because of deck pulley location? Or is that the 54 gt deck I'm thinking of?

1863 Cub Cadet Breather Valve Crankcase Bolts Torque Setting

If there is it is probably an INCH pound spec instead of a foot pound spec.

Agree with 1811. I have a 2185 with a 48" deck and an 1862 with a 54" and an 1862 with a 50c deck. The deck mounting systems are different between the cyclops tractors and the 2000 series. Not saying it couldn't be done. But it couldn't be done without modifications.

    Plow Day Roanoke

Here in Central Iowa I was able to get mine plowed last Monday with the Kubota utility and 2 btm ford plow. It wasn't pack but was almost powdery dry and we had a pretty good rain about a week before.

Parts Wanted KT-17 Series II Engine or later

Ya I knew they had 1 and 2 kts, guess a repower meant to me at least another engine regardless of if it was the original or something else. But I don't think like some people! 🤪 Personally I tend to shy away from something that has an engine replaced with other than a kohler if im looking to...

    Larger cylinder on 149

Wouldn't it be just as easy to put a sleeve hitch on and make some sort of lift to attach to that? That way you could continue to use the same cylinder and if you want later re attach a deck? Or make your cherry picker but hook it to a sleeve hitch lift linkage? Just a thought.

Wouldn't be suprised if it was 1 1/8 or maybe 1 1/16 socket to take blades off....

Guess I've not encountered any conditions yet where I thought I needed more flotation with thrower on. I also havent had a 451 on anything so i may change my mind? But I bet the 5 rib do look good on there.

Welcome. Newer member here too. 1864 is a good machine and worth saving imo. Power steering and hyd lift. Who doesn't like that? I agree from the pictures that deck would probably run a while if spindles are ok. Keep an eye out for another deck tho and if nothing else you will have a spare...

    Grass Catcher Issue

Dry grass and mow often are 2 things that help a lot. Also any clover is a lot stickyer and juice sticks to pipe worse. Washing pipe right after finishing helps some too. Got a 3 bag unit off a newer mower but it fits the mounts on the 2185. It took a bigger Dia pipe but it's not long enough...
