Will 1862 attachments work in 782?

The Cyclops benefits more with the bumpers since they have that wonderful fragile nose. They all should have had them as standard equipment.

Will 1862 attachments work in 782?

Yes, that's one of the differences between the frames.

Will 1862 attachments work in 782?

The 1811 and 1862 have almost identical frames. The Cyclops era front bumpers fit all of the MTD built 82 series. You will have to drill holes in the frame to mount the bumper on an IH built 82 series.

    What models are Cyclops

That series was produced from 1990-1997. NOS plastics are out there, but you won't like the prices!

    Won’t start after painting

I'd be looking at the points. Clean them with a point file. Or the tractor is rejecting the paint job. Did you use OEM Cub Cadet paint? :errrr:

    CC 1711 Power Steering

If the above suggestions do not satisfy you, you can add power steering to your unit since it has the ported hydro. Some parts from a 1862/1864 will go on with some modification.

    Motor oil

All SAE30 still has zinc in it. It hasn't been recommended for motor vehicle use in decades. Most of the multi viscosity auto oils do not due to the chance of catalytic converter contamination.

1210 Electrical Issues, Kohler Command 12

Disconnect the engine harness from the rest of the tractor and see if it starts. The 1986-89 1210 should have a Kohler 12HP Magnum flat head K series derative originally. They use a kill circuit to the magneto to ground out the magneto and thus shutting off the engine. If you have a 1985 1210...

    1872 international cub cadet

Even though MTD produced it, it is an IH design, just optimized with a much better engine and power steering. These were one of the best to wear a Cub Cadet nameplate!

    Dead mower

wiggle the ignition switch connector and see if anything happens.

782, K17 1st Gen. Keeping the covers off.

Another one of those "your results may vary". You probably will be ok since your engine is not running hard at full throttle in the summer, but as much as those tins are a PITA, I would keep them there for optimal cooling.

    Score!

    Interesting exhaust...

    Dead mower

The ignition switch/connector is another common source of issues on most vintage Cubs.
