    I ordered them from CC Specialties and they went right on no problem and what ever the torque requirement was Im sure I went to the spec. Is there something I missed or should have verified?

    I was very interested in the Crankshaft balance plate that is offered My unit still has the vibration even after a I installed new engine mounts. Now I know why it still has the vibration and I want to fix that. Is the K301 engine easy to dissemble and put back together? Thanks, Kelly

    [I wondered what that piece did- I've seen it before. Thank you. I will get that asap. I don't want to have to replace the plate when Im saving up for the grille assembly plus head lights.$$$$ Thanks again!!

    Yes, all the pictures I see are painted so I will paint using high temp product. It will also help hide it from the front when I get the grill and lights on.

    That duct is new so I’m good, and I did see the box was reasonable. Thanks for the resource and now you got me excited about getting that front end done . I’ve been putting it off since I have several other babies that tend to. The Cub is my favorite though

    I certainly understand the airflow generated by the flywheel and the positive impact on the engine and noise reduction from the box. I will post a before and after series of pics after I get the box and grill put on soon. Thanks for the interesting discussion so far- great group!

    No, I haven’t ordered the box yet, or the grill/grid parts. I was just waiting but I thought it was only for noise reduction- if it impacts the engine then I will get the box ASAP

    Yes you are correct and it is a strong engine- I love Kohler engines
