A few years ago I came across an estate sale and I got a steal of a deal and picked up 3 cub cadets including mine (the 61) the rest my father got. I couldn't tell you which models we have but I know what I got. I recently started restoring it and I decided to paint it, I have worked with the color yellow before and I know it doesn't cover well, so I decided to paint it with a yellow then go over it with the correct color. My father is a purest but I am just doing what I can with the funds that I have. I could probably wait and save up to paint it with the "cub cadet" colors but I just want it functional and look decent. If y'all know where I can get paint that won't break the bank I'd appreciate it, I'm probably not looking in the right places. (I said this in another post)
As of right now I haven't tried getting it running because I was rushing to get it into a local event but I didn't make it in time. I started painting it cause it's the one thing I'm good at and I'm in need of decals. I have digitals to get some made for the side of the hood but I need the dash decal. At this point I'm just ready to have it put together again.
