My Cub Cadet 108.. it has a brand new USA Made VR new wiring harness. New/Used SG from a working and charging machine.
I have 2 brand new VR and both does this. One is from ccspecialties and other from Ebay.. the ccspecialties one is unknown brand and Ebay one is made in USA. I know the Cub will stay running even with the battery disconnected so i know its charging.. But I do not want to boil my new battery. Only thing I can think of is the F wire is Grounded out.. the Ammeter is pegged to the right. The Wireing harness is from porchelectric. Only thing i can think of is run a dedicated wire from SG to F terminal on VM to see if that would be the issue. The VM is grounded to the battery by wire from GND Terminal to Neg Post on battery. The main issue is it going full charge and over volting. I'm at a loss on what to do.
