    Belt size needed.

Most every carb kit that I ever used had instructions and a float gauge in the package.

    Where to start.

If it has the old cloth insulation wiring I would replace it for sure. I nearly burned up my 147 several years ago due to shorted wiring.

Early k161 slow crank issue. Possibly ACR

Measure the battery voltage while cranking, I bet it's less than 12.

    Compression release

I don think any of the 7 HP engines had compression release, unless it has a blown head gasket.

    The Next IH Cub Cadet

I wonder how many people know why the flag was upside down.

    M&W 9 speed.

I have seen two in my lifetime. Very rare item I would say.

    oil capacity question

Ten horse flat sump oil pan should only need 1 quart.

    IH dealer from years back

I would think the blue stripe hood would be for a 149. Aren't 129 red stripe?

Parts Wanted Key switch for 1000

Why not get a wiring diagram and a cheap continuity meter and diagnose the problem? Parts stores love it when people start throwing parts at an unknown problem.

run time on full charge battery

Until battery voltage is too low to power the coil. I would guess a couple hours. Try it and report back please.

    Cub Cadet 108

You can weld the VR contacts by incorrectly wiring them. I found out the hard way several years ago. Expensive lesson learned.

    hydro linkage

On a 129 with the tunnel cover off you should be able to reach in with right angle snap ring pliers and remove the clip.

    Score!

Unless it is a three digit serial number it's not worth anywhere close to that price.

    Hello from Alaska!

I would guess a Model 100 from what i can see. Look on the right side of the transmission housing for numbers stamped into the casting.
