Carb needle seat installation

What do i use to tighten down a new needle seat in a k161 carburetor. A 3/8 socket fits on the needle seat but the areal around the is to tight to use it.

I have found most nut drivers that size to be small enough.

I bought an extra deep well socket from a flea market and then took the outer diameter down with a grinder or belt sander. I keep this in a separate tool drawer, so that I know where it is, when rebuilding carbs. It seems to work perfectly and no issues so far with breaking it.
