    next generation(s)

I delivered the refurbished 1811 and 75 RER to my son's house yesterday. I am proud to say that he's catching the yellow and white fever! He will mow with the 75 and move and grade gravel and use the 1811 for orher work on his home in the rural Ozarks. My grandson however seems partial to my...

    1811 refurbish

I was looking for a tractor for my son that would be compatible with the implements I have for my 782. Found this 1811 that ran decent and brought it home. Previous owner had some real sketchy repairs. Not a single cotter pin or hairpin clip on the mower deck and mule drive. All bailing wire...

    75 refurbish

I pulled this 75 out of the shed that I bought in Illinois with a couple 60s a few years ago. It hasn't run in years but has compression and was stored inside. It seems to be in good shape. I am going to try to get it running strong and give it to my son to use on his new home he purchased. I...

    782 fuel pump

After a no start condition with no fuel getting to the carburetor, I started looking at old forum questions. Kohler mechanical pumps were pricey and aftermarket parts are iffy. Digger posted a fuel pump from Amazon that he had used. I looked at it and it was $100. I found this one for $25...

    Parts Wanted RER bumpers wanted

Anyone have any bumpers for sale for the rear engine riders? I am close to finishing my 95 electric and it would be nice to protect the newly restored fiberglass body.

    Rear Engine Riders

OK- the 85 Special works hard mowing and picking up Ozark oak leaves. The 60 gets started and driven up and down the road and makes me laugh thinking about 4 speeds in reverse. It does look pretty in the garage. I should get a picture together-is it rare to have white, yellow and red IH products? :)

Parts Wanted Foot rest pad wanted

I am still looking for a right side foot rest pad for my 782. Part #723-3007. Anyone have one or have made one? Thanks!

    782 progress

I used Meguiar's mirror glaze and a buffer to clean up years if oxidation on the new to me 782. I have the mower deck off for cleaning and refurbishing. I have a spindle bearing that needs attention. I bought a sleeve hitch bracket from xtrememotorworks for the aluminum differential. It looks...

    782 jumped in my trailer

I left with a 122 and came back with a 782. I went to look at a 1811 and a different 782. Both were pretty rough and I decided I had enough projects. So I soent more on a not sure i want to sell it 782. The hydro and real disc brakes will be great on these Ozark hills. It is in great shape runs...

    85 special weights

OK so it has rained seemingly constantly in the Ozarks since March. Hard to keep up with the mowing-always tall and wet. I used 2" electrical conduit and filled with sand. They weigh about 8 lbs each. I used U bolts to clamp them to the bumpers. Credit Jim Koenig with some brainstorming! It...

    95 electric RER

Got the body off with a lot of pb blaster some heat and a few words. Another power wash, several inches of packrat and mice stuff out and I have my work cut out for me on this one. Pretty rusty everywhere, one IH mower motor and another of unknown origin. Wiring is all there I think but shot. At...

    curious part

Anyone know if this is a garden tractor part or? It was in the battery box of the 95 electric that I brought home a week ago.

    Model 60 restoration

Getting back into the 60 restoration. Frame is painted, mower deck rebuilt, trans and differential cleaned inspected and reassembled. I have excessive clearance on the exhaust valve. I am waiting on the machine shop to cut the valve seat before I reassemble the Tecumseh.

    Allis Chalmers garden tractor collection

I purchased an electric 95 RER today from a young man whose grandfather ran an Allis dealership. He started collecting garden tractors when he was 8. I loved talking to the 30ish year old young man who was very knowledgeable about these tractors. He had every attachment that I could think of...

    95 Electric RER

I have been looking for 2 years for an IH 95 Electric to complete my IH bathtub RER collection. This one came home with me from Plymouth Nebraska from a Allis Chalmers garden tractor collector. It is very rough but has the charger and all the motors and controllers and the cost was only...

    IH vehicles

I am on my old hometown in Kansas for Thanksgiving. I was driving around and found a rusty trucks car lot that has some really cool old trucks and delivery vans. Snapped pictures of the 4 IH products I saw. Only the one Scout had a price on it. At any rate, cool stuff! Had to leave before I...

    just wondering...

I realize that this will go down the rabbit hole of you need a cub for every implement! My question is has anyone ever tried to make a bracket to hold up the front blade and take off the lift rod so that it could stay in place and you could use the rear lift for another attachment? I was...

    122 blade

I need some help. I have a blade for my 122 that I have never installed on it. I bought it after I puchased the tractor. I thought I had the correct subframe for my tractor - bolt on instead of quick attach. I removed the mule drive bracket and started to bolt it on. It doesnt fit-see pics. Do I...
